The Spirit of the Firefly

She is an enchanted spirit, one who is always alight, most easily seen in the dark.

I read that firefly spirit tells us that every small contribution makes a beautiful addition for the greater good, and our world a better place.

The firefly reminds me of who I am.
Of who we are.
Every soul on this planet has a beautiful light within them.
And it’s when we lift our wings and fly through the darkness that,  like the firefly, we illuminate the path for ourselves and others.

The firefly said to me,

“Lift your wings, shine your light, for you are as free as me.”
