Butterfly Breath Journey
(Summer 2023)

Like a gentle rain falling from the sky.

Sometimes.

An idea comes to me.

Slowly.

And I have to still myself.

To make sure I hear it right.

In May, while I was on a spiritual journey across the sacred sites and temples of Bali, the plan started to open up to me. Like a flower. In Bali, where I was kissed by a butterfly’s breath. I am still integrating what happened there. But now I am out of a dark cocoon. A chrysalis. The many dark nights of the soul illumined.

Free to take a journey, wherever the wind takes me.

I am the butterfly. My wings are blue.

Bali didn’t do this to me; it is where the plan was revealed… the energies so quiet and peaceful that I could hear my inner self speak.

My soul spoke in Bali.

Originally, I was to leave my condo on the Gulf of Mexico this summer, when hurricane construction would begin. I would take a slow drive up the coast of Connecticut, where I used to live.

And then, like Stardust from a falling star, I felt the message…

“Bring the dogs and go west into the mountains. To see family and friends. And the sacred sites across this country…”

And so it is.

From east to west.

Like the rising sun.

I am traveling across the United States now. With my two dogs Sonny and Rosie.
